oh my
gentle hands can pry
dig your
gentle hands thru my
knots
and break the clots
my stomach is a rotten mess of thoughts
but it was just a
quiet slip of the tongue
i'll separate the vowels and thrust the sound
into every color of you
and paint your body with daydreams from my room
oh well
iron bones repel
save my
paper bones for hell
and they'll burn
the oil turns
my marrow is a fever dream of worms
but it was just a static dance of the skin
i'll shatter every bone that stands between
my mind and the body you're in
untie my skin
vomit knotted wires to keep
salivating lips asleep
heavy veins hold softer floods
taste the iron in my blood
Stumbled across this great band because of Martha the band and I just love their sometimes melancholy garage-sound.
Also I like the acoustic songs.
I still remember seeing them live in my hometown when they were touring with Erica Freas and asked them for a setlist to have something to remember the great concert.
It´s hanging on my wall since that day :) Ninehundredninetynine
